Denver agrees to deal with Isaiah Thomas

Despite the dramatic phrasing, it wasn't an unreasonable demand by Thomas. With the Cavaliers struggling, however, they dealt Thomas, Channing Frye and a 2018 first-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Lakers on February 8 for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. Thomas regained some of his offensive pop during his brief run with the Lakers, averaging 15.6 points per contest and shooting nearly 40 percent, but was shut down when his ailing hip flared up late in the year. Making matters worse, inner turmoil threatened to blow the Cavs up, with Thomas involved in some of it, resulting in a poor on-court product.

Thomas missed the first 36 games and final 11 games of last season due to right hip surgery.

In 17 games, including just one start, for Los Angeles, Thomas averaged 15.6 points and five assists.

Justice Department reopens probe of 1955 slaying of Emmett Till
The government has investigated 115 cases involving 128 victims under the "cold case" law named for Till, the report said. Relatives of Till pushed Attorney General Jeff Sessions to reopen the case previous year after publication of the book.

Clearly frustrated by the lack of offers, he took to Instagram on Thursday to post a reminder about his accomplishments with the Celtics. With L.A., Thomas played slightly better (though he continued struggling with his shooting) and was reportedly a positive influence on the Lakers' younger players.

In a series of posts on his IG story, the All-NBA guard posted images of his stats from his terrific 2016-17 season and wrote that people are "so quick to forget!" "I'll remind them though". The deal is for one year and will pay Thomas $2 million.

Just 12 months ago, Isaiah Thomas was on a high after coming off his best season in the National Basketball Association with the Boston Celtics where he was an MVP candidate.
