Capcom announced the animated adaptation of the monster-slaying games this week with the developer and publisher partnering with Pure Imagination Studios to release the animated special. In it, you'll see a Hunter interacting with a Moogle and a Kulu-Ya-Ku staring at a mysterious crystal.

The game won't launch on PC with all of the DLC content that's been released so far on consoles, but we're promised that that will all be coming down the pipe in the next few months and like previous Monster Hunter games, entirely for free too.

Take down these monsters and receive materials that you can use to create stronger weapons and armor in order to hunt even more risky monsters. There are huge beasts roaming the lands, and then there are the hunters that take them down with a variety of larger-than-life weapons.

The Monster Hunter World Behemoth event kicks off August 1 at 5pm PT, 8pm ET and on August 2 at 1am BST, 2am CEST.

Wimbledon defeat to Kevin Anderson showed John McEnroe one thing
Neither has won a major title, although Anderson came the closest, losing to Nadal in last year's U.S. That's the analysis of three-time Wimbledon champion John McEnroe.

Monster Hunter: World is now available for PS4 and Xbox One with the release for PC set for Aug 9.

"We are thrilled to return fans to the universe of "Monster Hunter" and expand the series' rich lore". Capcom is working closely with Western production company Pure Imagination Studios on this intriguing project.

"At Pure Imagination, we focus on building content driven eco-systems and experiences that can live across multiple platforms of engagement".

Similar to the Spring Blossom Fest back in April, the Monster Hunter World Summer Twilight event will feature festive decorations for the Gathering Hall, its NPCs, Handler and your Poogie in summer aesthetics.
