Tropical Depression forms in the Atlantic

There are two areas to watch in the Gulf and Atlantic on Tuesday but neither has a high chance of development. The disturbance over the northern Gulf is expected to move inland in Louisiana today

The 2018 Atlantic hurricane season's second tropical cyclone has formed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The newly formed tropical storm is now over 1,300 miles east-southeast of the Windward Islands, moving west-northwest.

Moving about 15 miles per hour to the west, the storm system is expected to interact with upper level winds and Sarahan Dust this weekend, prohibiting any further strengthening. On the forecast track, the storm was expected to head northwest toward the Lesser Antilles.

A tropical depression heading for the Caribbean has now become Tropical Storm Beryl.

Environmental conditions were for some development through the end of the week while the system moves slowly west-northwestward and then northward off the coast of North Carolina.

The weakening tropical disturbance might still bring shower and thundershower activity and locally gusty winds to the central and northern Lesser Antilles from Sunday into Monday.

Trump, Kim Jong-un could meet again in NYC
United States officials have since been working to flesh out the details. "So we gave nothing. We go into this eyes wide open with a very clear view of these conversations".

A forecaster for AccuWeather.com said the storm will break apart due to strong wind shear as well as dry air and dust.

Ms Davis said: "We're watching two areas in the Atlantic for possible tropical development". However, it is far too early to consider this system as a threat to the Gulf Coast.

There are no watches or warnings in effect for the storm.
