Heather Locklear taken to hospital for psych evaluation after suicidal thoughts

News Heather Locklear Hospitalized for Psychiatric Evaluation

Heather Locklear was hospitalized in Thousand Oaks, California, on Sunday, June 17, for a psychiatric evaluation, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office confirms to Us Weekly.

TMZ reports a member of Locklear's family called 911 claiming the actress was acting "erratically" and trying to find a gun to shoot herself.

TMZ are reporting that her parents were the ones to make the call, after going over to check on her after becoming anxious about her behaviour during the day.

The incident is being ruled as medical, not criminal, and Locklear is now not being charged on any counts.

IOS 12 911 calls will share your location with first responders
It will also be utilizing RapidSOS's "Internet Protocol-based data pipeline" to share users' HELO data with 911 operators. The new feature will be packaged as part of iOS 12, an iPhone software update due later this year .

The incident occurs just four months after the Melrose Place star was arrested for domestic assault and battery on an officer.

Once things calmed down, Heather, 56, was taken to the hospital. She seemed out of control once again, so they called the police.

"Heather is still at the hospital and is still being held under a 5150", a separate law enforcement source confirmed.

'Her family wants nothing more for her than to be checked into a facility until she finally truly is clean and sober'. She was transported to a hospital, and no charges have been filed at this time.
