Vienna being discussed as host for Putin Trump summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that dialogue with Donald Trump could be "constructive", in comments released after his United States counterpart called for Russia to be re-admitted to the exclusive Group of Seven club of nations.

Trump said on Friday that Russian Federation should have attended a Group of Seven summit in Canada over the weekend, an idea that even Moscow seemed to reject saying it was focused on other formats.

On March 20, Putin and Trump held a telephone call and agreed to hand down instructions to start preparations for a Russia-US summit.

Peskov's comments come a day after Trump called for Russian Federation to be readmitted to the group of the world's leading nations, known as the G7, a step that would end Russia's worldwide isolation over its 2014 annexation of Crimea from Ukraine.

The G7 ended in discord on Saturday when Trump clashed with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and said he might hit the auto industry with tariffs.

Having the lols! Meghan and the Queen are officially besties
They arrived at Runcorn earlier this morning when Meghan revealed it was her first in the North. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be king and queen in Canada next month.

While the EU-state imposed sanctions on Russia over Crimea along with the rest of the bloc, Austria did not expel Russian diplomats like other Western nations following the March poisoning of a Russian former double agent and his daughter in Britain, an attack London has accused Moscow of being behind. The Kremlin has complained that efforts to organise the meeting seem frozen. But Russia should be in this meeting.

"He is a serious-minded person who knows how to listen to people and respond to their arguments".

"The US president himself repeatedly said that he would consider such a meeting helpful".

Trump was due to arrive in Singapore on Sunday ahead of a historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
