Queen, Meghan cheered by crowds on first joint royal trip

Statement PM Delighted Over Prince Harry And Duchess Visit

The Duchess of Sussex has arrived in Cheshire, where she is joining the Queen for a day of engagements.

Meghan Markle revealed that she was leaving Suits and her character Rachel Zane behind after she announced her engagement to Prince Harry.

Their first stop featured a performance by local schoolchildren in the town of Widnes, near Liverpool.

The pair departed for the day of engagements on Wednesday evening, journeying north on board the royal train.

Meghan appeared to ask the Queen: "What's your preference?".

She added: "The Queen was the happiest I've seen her in a long time".

The Queen doesn't indulge in worries and she didn't spend a lot of time checking on Meghan, but instead let her get on with it.

Cal 3: 'Three Californias' Referendum to Appear on November 2018 Ballot
State officials say eligible ballot measures will become qualified on the 131st day prior to the next statewide general election . The ballot initiative instructs the governor to seek approval by Congress under Article IV, Section 3 of the U.S.

The Duchess of Sussex joined the Queen on an official visit to Cheshire, in the northwest of England, where they opened the new Mersey Gateway Bridge and met with architects, planners, and community representatives.

In another unprecedented series of events, a member of the royal family has been submitted for Emmy consideration.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have done the impossible. Luckily for Meghan Markle, she has some help.

Royals author Ingrid Seward told People that Meghan's solo outing with the Queen occurred much sooner than Kate Middleton's following her marriage to Prince William.

It was a flawless introduction for the former American actress to a royal engagement Queen-style and to a British summer's day: it was cool and breezy with lots of cloud - Californian sunshine this was not.

The couple will make an official visit to Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and New Zealand later this year.

This was Meghan's and Harry's first public appearance after their honey moon. "She was central rather than the alternative of being in the front row and along the balcony to the left or right".
