Jade returns in Beyond Good & Evil 2; HitRecord lets you collaborate

Beyond Good & Evil 2 Teases Return Of Jade Introduces hitRECord Partnership Brodie Gibbons

Ubisoft teased Beyond Good and Evil 2 in 2008 with a trailer that featured Jade, but the publisher said little about the game since.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been given a bit of a showing at Ubisoft's now ongoing E3 conference, first with a CGI story trailer and then some brief snippets of gameplay. The conference then rolls into showing pre-alpha footage of the game focused around the Ganesha City. "HitRECord is the flawless partner to collaborate with to create this expansive world by bringing our passionate communities together and bring it to life".

It's not quite clear how this will work at this time, but more details on the Space Monkey program will be released at a Ubisoft community event this fall. The short clip offers clues about the title's moment-to-moment action and, most importantly, a sneak peek at the game's villain.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 places players in the role of a custom space pirate as they forge their story through the stars. It's a phenomenal way to bring the characters, the players, and the developers all together in a whole new way.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt came on to introduce the HitRecord initiative which will allow fans to have their art showcased in the game itself.

Cyberpunk 2077 Promises Stunning Character Creation, Male or Female
Already, we see fans threatening to not purchase the game due to this recently confirmed feature. The most truly cyberpunk aspect of combat, though, is the ability to hack into your enemies.

What are your thoughts on Beyond Good and Evil 2 so far?

"Beyond Good and Evil 2", announced at last year's E3, is a prequel to 2003's "Beyond Good and Evil"; it's in development at Ubisoft Montpellier.

Platforms are still unannounced.

We still have no idea when to expect Beyond Good & Evil 2. There's a $50k profit pool that will be split amongst anybody who contributes to something that makes it into the final game, which could also expand.
