Woods to stay on yacht during US Open

Tiger Woods' $20 million yacht may be named "Privacy", but its owner likely won't be getting very much next week thanks to where he has chosen to dock it for the upcoming U.S. Open in the Hamptons.

Woods will compete in the U.S. Open for the first time since 2015.

Woods has been out of golf for most of the past two years and his world ranking fell out of the top 1,000.

Woods has decided against the travesty of a hotel room or a rented home, and has opted to stay aboard the questionably dubbed Privacy.

He also won the 2000 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and the 2002 championship at Bethpage. "Privacy" is 155-feet long, and reportedly requires a nine-person crew and a costs $2 million per year to keep afloat. The area around Shinnecock Hills on the eastern end of Long Island is full of lovely rental homes and beachside hotels. She apparently made numerous interior design choices for the sleek vessel, like the dark cherry wood, marble and leather furniture. It features a master suite and six other sleeping quarters, enough for 21 people to stay on board. There is also a gym, of course, as well as a theater and a Jacuzzi.

'Tiger Woods pulled up and asked to trade boats. After offering the boat to Elin Nordegren during their divorce proceedings, Woods tried to sell the boat in 2011.
