The 2018 Galaxy J3 & J7 are high quality, budget-friendly smartphones for every lifestyle, including parents looking for their teen's first smartphone in advance of the back-to-school season or an aging in place family member looking for an low-cost upgrade. "Xiaomi grew both in China and India due to its affordable smartphones", said Parv Sharma, Research Analyst with Counterpoint. Samsung has not revealed the pricing of these new smartphones or revealed their complete specifications as yet.

The Galaxy Note 9 is Samsung's next premium flagship product but before it arrives, expect to be introduced to mid-range smartphones from either the Galaxy J or Galaxy A series. Resolution main camera is 8 MP (f/1.9), front - 5 MP (f/2.2). The smartphone will be available in Black and Blue colour variants. It also packs a 13-megapixel camera on the front and back, with the primary camera having an f/1.7 aperture lens compared to f/1.9 on the selfie shooter.

Samsung also says the phone includes a "large battery", allowing for all-day battery life on a single charge.

Galaxy J3 and J7 are great in the workplace as well, offering the defense-grade, multilayered protection of Samsung Knox right out of the box. And with a great, long-lasting battery, users don't have to worry about carrying an extra power pack or finding an outlet. These phones will include the Samsung+ app in order to provide real-time customer care support with community support, Live Voice Chat and more. Other specs of the device are not yet revealed but the recent Geekbench reveals the Galaxy J7 2018 model will be powered by Exynos 7570 Quad core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM.
