Is Wayne Rooney moving to MLS?

Wayne Rooney would benefit from experiencing different cultures and environments in the United States says Gary Neville

Rooney has made 40 appearances in his comeback season at Everton, and is now the club's top scorer with 11 goals. We have not been in any hard situations with me.

Rooney has reportedly come to an agreement to join the MLS club in the summer after this season back at boyhood club Everton.

MLS club DC United have confirmed that they are interested in signing the England and Manchester United record goalscorer, with rumours earlier this week suggesting that he has agreed a £12 million move.

Should he decide to make the move eventually, there's no doubt the England legend will do well in the United States of America and he'll certainly bring the eventual club a tonne more of fans. I don't get involved in anything regarding transfers in or out or negotiations.

'The deal is not done but there is some interest from our end, ' DC United coach Ben Olsen told American website TMZ.

"I am always comfortable if any player wants to leave or if any player doesn't want to leave".

Allardyce admits that negotiations could have taken place between DC United and Rooney, but indicated that there is nothing final about the forward leaving Everton at the end of the season.

Sadr leads the al-Sairoon Coalition (The Marchers) that brings together his Sadrist Movement and the Iraqi Communist Party . The vote was widely seen as a verdict on Abadi's tenure and his pledge to be more inclusive of Iraq's Sunni minority.

However Allardyce insists that Rooney has not asked to leave Everton and dismissed suggestions of a potential fallout between the pair. "It would have to be massive for him to want to leave Everton".

Reacting to this, he said, "Wayne is a special player but if any player wants to leave they can, in my opinion. They get the opportunities and it's up to them to put their game together on a consistent basis - and those are the ones who play every week".

Allardyce's situation is also uncertain amid supporter unrest over recent performances, but the 63-year-old is intent on staying.

Asked about planning for next season, the manager replied: "I've already done it".

Olson was met at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport by a TMZ/Mega reporter on Friday and when first asked how the deal was going he said: I don't know what you're talking about.

"I think recruitment is the start of the process to try and achieve a top six challenge".
