Neymar is wanted by Real Madrid

Injured Neymar has emerged as France's player of the year at an awards ceremony in Paris, in spite of missing the last three months of Paris Saint-Germain's campaign this season.

The star also lauded his PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe, who is just 19, as "the best in the world for his age".

Pressed on whether Madrid should make a move for Neymar when the transfer window re-opens, Robinho told Goal: "Real Madrid's place in world football is the top place".

The Brazilian superstar received his Ligue 1 Conforama medal - like the rest of the capital club's squad - on Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes.

Neymar has not played since he picked up an ankle injury in February, but is back in training and faces a race against time to get fit for the World Cup.

Manchester United are lining up a sensational swoop for Paris Saint-Germain megastar Neymar.

May, Trump plan talks over Iran sanctions
Boosting output to compensate for Iran and reining in rising prices would prevent damage to the global economy, and fuel demand. Zanganeh said Iran's crude production was about four million barrels per day (bpd), nearly four percent of global output.

"I don't know if they are negotiating for Neymar", Zidane said, via Mundo Deportivo.

Spanish newspaper Marca reported on Friday that the player's father and agent, Neymar Sr, has told PSG his son wants to leave immediately.

He failed to fire the Parisians to the latter stages of the Champions League and has missed the final part of the season after suffering a serious injury.

Due to the valuations mentioned above, the Emir is said to find suggestions of a €260m exit for Neymar to Real Madrid "humorous".

Mbappe, who has scored 13 league goals, won the same award a year ago when he helped Monaco to the title, and so follows Eden Hazard in claiming the young player gong two seasons running.

And according to the Daily Star, PSG have decided against trying to persuade Neymar to stay for a second season - and will now look to cash-in on their prized asset to the highest bidder.
