Falke Joining Street Fighter V Line-Up Next Week

The official YouTube channel for the Street Fighter series began streaming a character introduction video for Falke on Monday.

Falke's Psycho Power can be stored in her staff by holding down any punch button.

Falke was built to be an alternative clone for M. Bison.

With the help of Ed, Falke escaped Shadaloo and now she and Ed are like siblings.

Typically a few days after a character is revealed for Street Fighter 5, players and spectators get a full breakdown of what the new fighter can do on the Winner Stays On Sessions, and we won't have to wait long for Falke's. Falke will be followed by Cody, Sagat and the freaky looking G at a later date.

In this two-block V-Trigger, Falke powers up her ability to infuse and release Psycho Power from her staff and will allow her to use additional versions of her special moves without needing to charge up in advance. The character will be available for download on April 24.

Falke and Ed don't just share a bond, they also share similar inputs. While in this position, she's able to dodge projectiles that are aimed at her.

The next piece of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition's third season of fighters is set to arrive in the next week. Psycho Trombe on its own can be cancelled into by a variety of normal moves and can also be used to absorb projectiles.

Falke's V-Skill is called Psycho Trombe and during it she spins her staff in front of her. Her V-Trigger II sees her twirl Harmony and launch her opponent skyward, opening them up to follow-up combos. If you press hard punch and hard kick during this, Psycho Sturm will be activated to deliver a sweeping staff attack that can be cancelled for combo extensions. Pressing down and HP+HK will see Falke using Psycho Klinge, where she jumps diagonally into the air before slamming her staff down on the opponent and can be followed up with normal moves.
