Leaked photos of the gold iPhone X have hit the internet

Apple has had 12 employees arrested over the course of previous year for leaking internal information about future software plans, according to a memo leaked (ironically) today, spotted by Bloomberg.

"These people not only lose their jobs, they can face extreme difficulty finding employment elsewhere", the letter rants. The memo notes that journalists will reach out to Apple employees on social media in attempts to gain insider information.

Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg very recently said she was upset from what seems to be leakers within the company she helps lead, reports Bloomberg. Those 29 people included employees, contractors, and supply chain partners.

Apple is rumored to release three new iPhones in September, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI analyst: 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones thought to be the iPhone X successor and its larger "Plus" model, as well as a cheaper 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. Other Silicon Valley companies target leakers, and past year Apple gathered employees to warn about leaks-which was privately recorded and leaked to the media, notes TechCrunch. The company has raised the spectre of potential action and criminal charges. "12 of those were arrested", says the terror missive from Cupertino, ironically leaked to Bloomberg.

The March date won't be when services start being pulled but is instead when Apple will make its plan public, allowing users to make ample preparations for the service to close.

But in case Apple employees get too cosy hating journalists, there still some bile reserved for them.

Girls Lacrosse: Millburn Romps Over Union Catholic, 15-2
Playing them for the first time this season, the team didn't know what to expect, and it turned out to be a challenging game. After Emerson Cabrera scored her first goal, the Lions' Carley Patwell tied it with two minutes left in the half.

Apple isn't the only company with this problem, as most big companies with juicy products face leaking employees.

Speaking to The Sun, an Apple spokesperson said it was "not true" that the firm was planning to scrap iTunes downloads.

With this memo, Apple has made it clear that they have zero tolerance for leaks of confidential information.

However, a recent leak suggests Apple had indeed planned to bust out the gold paint for its fanciest handset ever. A scoop about an unreleased Apple product can generate massive traffic for a publication and financially benefit the blogger or reporter who broke it. Global Security has worked hand-in-hand with suppliers to prevent theft of Apple's intellectual property as well as to identify individuals who try to exceed their access.

Earlier this year, we all had a good laugh when a memo from Snapchat parent Snap leaked.
