Asus ZenFone 5 Max spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 660

Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus has now finally started rolling out a new update to it's smartphones. The update is being rolled out as the software firmware version V15.0410.1802.34 for the Asus Zenfone 4 Pro. Now some latest information has suggested that Asus will launch its one more handset soon. Once the update becomes available, you should see an automatic notification pop up on your screen. You can also try to manually force the update by accessing the "Settings" menu, then the "About" option, and finally, "System Update". Now a new variant of the device carrying model number ASUS X00QD was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking website with an upgraded RAM and processor unit. The key changes listed in the release notes include power consumption improvement, addition of "Long Screenshot" function, Substitute Cast function for PlayTo function, and launcher-specific changes such as swipe up to all apps, and changed icons.

The Android Oreo update is being pushed out in stages so it might take a while before it reaches your device.
