Albert Wilson intends to sign with Dolphins

He would shore up a need for the Dolphins, who have already traded Jarvis Landry this offseason. Miami also reportedly added Danny Amendola to their wide receiver group on Tuesday.

With the signing of Wilson, the Dolphins will now have a receiver on the field at the same time as Kenyan Drake who they can hand the ball off to, in an effort to manage Drake's workload.

One potential player the Cardinals could have targeted is receiver Albert Wilson, who caught 42 passes for 554 yards and three touchdowns, will sign with the Miami Dolphins, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Wilson's contract would be a $24 million, three-year deal, a second person said.

Active Volume Stock: The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO)
Mundy now anticipates that the company will post earnings per share of $1.69 for the year, up from their prior estimate of $1.63. It dropped, as 48 investors sold KO shares while 641 reduced holdings. 106 funds opened positions while 598 raised stakes.

The ex-K.C. wideout is the third receiver to agree to a deal before the NFL's new league year opens Wednesday, joining Allen Robinson (Bears) and Sammy Watkins (Chiefs). During four seasons with the club, he hauled in 124 catches for 1,544 yards and seven scores. Wilson is also a standout on special teams and is a very willing blocker, which gives the Dolphins a well-rounded player to utilize in almost every facet of the team's offense.

On the eve of free agency, the Dolphins released veteran linebacker Lawrence Timmons as expected.

He signed a $12 million, two-year contract in 2017 after 10 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
