Packers trade Damarious Randall to Browns for QB DeShone Kizer

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor throws a pass against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first half of an NFL wild-card playoff football game Sunday Jan. 7 2018 in Jacksonville Fla

The Cleveland Browns are making a great deal of moves on Friday night. They sent quarterback DeShone Kizer to the Green Bay Packers late in the day, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

After one hard season, the Browns threw DeShone Kizer away.

The Browns then went ahead and acquired Jarvis Landry from the Miami Dolphins.

He failed, but while he and the Browns slid toward ignominy, Kizer never complained, pointed fingers or made excuses. Kizer, who was a rookie this past season, is headed to Green Bay.

It also meant there was just no way the Browns planned on allowing Kizer to be a starter for the team again.

Enough is Enough! Hundreds of Israelis Demand Netanyahu's Resignation
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly told cabinet ministers Sunday that there's now no "concrete USA peace plan" on the table.

The Packers were reportedly interested in Kizer before the draft, which makes this trade all the more intuitive for them. Up I-90 in Green Bay, the Packers watched Brett Hundley fail in an offense we know can and does work with three Pro Bowl receivers and one of the best offensive lines in football.

But Kizer needed time to develop. That's exactly what happened when the only competition for the quarterback in preseason for the starting job was Brock Osweiler, Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan.

Now, perhaps, they have found the next quarterback to throw to him. they are sending their natural third-round draft pick, 65 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for Tyrod Taylor, who returns to the AFC North after spending his first four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

Jackson fully expected Kizer to struggle in his first year and those fears played out week after week.

Aaron Rodgers is still the starter, but the Packers saw very little to believe that Brett Hundley is a player worth developing much longer.
