Basketball official ejects cheerleader from game for heckling him

An Arizona cheerleader was kicked out of the Wildcats' game against Arizona State for heckling a Sun Devils free throw shooter.

Maybe "Grant C" should stick to the cheerleading basics.

That's when the cheerleader made his mark on the game.

The straw that broke the camels back occurred when the cheerleader, known simply as "Grant C", called out Sun Devils guard Remy Martin, who was at the free-throw line.

Former Michigan State AD: ESPN report had 'incomplete and misleading statements'
Michigan State's board of trustees approved a one-year extension to Dantonio's contract Friday. It's not clear if the investigation will reach the football program specifically.

I didn't know basketball officials had the power to do this.

The deflated Arizona Wildcats cheerleader, wearing a bright blue and red t-shirt, can be seen shuffling past the crowds with his head lowered.

"He was yelling, using the [megaphone] to call out people by name, which is not acceptable", McCall said to the Arizona Republic. Referee Randy McCall apparently told the cheerleader to stop, but he didn't, so McCall sent him out of the arena. A college kid got a little to excited about a game. "And he was asked to please stop, and he chose not to", said Randy McCaul, the referee who ejected the cheerleader. My goal in life is to one day write a Batman screenplay.
